He has a diverse entertainment and sports media background and expertise that allows him to instantly identify with fan bases and pop culture consumers. For 15-plus years, Tom was a television sports anchor at major market stations in Phoenix (ABC and NBC), Chicago (NBC 5), and Boston (Fox 25). He was the host and emcee for the Phoenix Suns of the NBA, and is a regular sports commentator on television stations. He has written over 50 commemorative sports championship books, as well as books on sports icons Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan.
